Toonzetters, a theatrical concert with 20 new compositions by young and upcoming composers, at Oranjewoud Festival. In collaboration with composer Primo Ish-Hurwitz and video-artist and photographer Bowie Verschuren. Opening-night: 4 June 2022.

A theatre project in collaboration with the Hul’q’umi’num language and culture society, and Dr. Kirsten Sadeghi-Yekta, the University of Victoria, BC, Canada. Opening-night: August 2022.

Slagwerk Den Haag, En nu stil, a theatrical concert for 4 percussionists, in collaboration with Niels Meliefste. Opening-night: January 2023.

Orpheo, produced by Dutch Classical Talent. A theatrical concert with the harpist Joost Willemze. Opening-night: 9 March 2023.

Maalkop, a theaterplay by Herman van de Wijdeven. A coproduction of Kulturfest Weimar, Staatstheater Meiningen and Landestheater Eisenach. Opening-night: September 2023.


Jos van Kan is writing Geur van Magnolia, a theatreplay for the actresses Frieda Pittoors and Ariane Schluter.
He will translate Allein by Daniel Schreiber for Uitgeverij Nieuw Amsterdam. Published: Fall 2022.
