In the future Jos van Kan hopes to work on the following projects:

2011 / 2012

"De Presidentes" a play by W.Schwab at Tryater, Leeuwarden. Opening night 7-10-2011 in Leeuwarden.

Music-theatre in collaboration with sixteen villagers of Chamcar Bei, three Khmer musicians, the Khmer artist Chath Piersath, and a Khmer photographer. Opening night 18-2-2011, Chamcar Bei, Kampot, Cambodia.

"Vissen hoesten niet". Music-theatre for six percussionists and a dancer of the composer Jan van de Putte at Slagwerkgroep Den Haag. Opening night 19-4-2012, Bellevue, Amsterdam.

A co-production of the Holland Festival and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. "De Rode Kimono", a new work in collaboration with the composer Micha Hamel. Performed by the Hexagon Ensemble and dancer and improvisor Michael Schumacher. The heart of this music-theater show is the painting "De Rode Kimono" by G.H.Breitner. Opening night 18-6-2012, Muziekgebouw aan het IJ, Amsterdam.

Working as adviser-director in a new multimedia show of Ulrike Quade in Norway. Opening night 2-11-2011, Lofoten, Norway. Opening night in The Netherlands, 16-11-2011, Bellevue, Amsterdam.

2012 / 2013

Staatstheater Braunschweig, a play. Opening night, 10-11-2012, Braunschweig, Germany.

A new play, for a Dutch actress and two traditional musicians from Cambodia, written by himself.

Teaching at Codarts, Master New Music Theatre. Rotterdam.

Cello Suites by Benjamin Britten, with Gregor Horsch, cello soloist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and Michael Schumacher, dancer and improvisor. Lu Kun, fashion designer from Shanghai, will design the costumes.
